In Your Hands

I think, life in general, gets a bit harder as you get older but for all the wrong reasons, we replace childhood worries about getting homework in on time with adult worries about getting coursework in on time, things that we always thought were life changing are actually now life changing but that doesn't mean it's any more or less stressful when we thought it before. With freedom comes great responsibility and with responsibility comes stress, however, it shouldn't be all work and no play, it's too easy to live to work rather than work to live. Anyhow, this isn't even on my mind ATM what's on my mind is commitment and how seriously we take it, I guess that linked to responsibility some how... At what point do we accept commitments and whether we want them or not, why commit ourselves to something we don't like or want? I find people do this a lot and I even do it myself but how can we complain of being unhappy when it's ourselves that put made us unhappy, it's not your job it's your choice of job, it's not your partner it's your choice of partner.... It's all your choice and what may seem life changing right now.....may be a distant memory in the future x
